Senior Engineer, Connectivity and Collaboration Engineers

Role Summary:

INFOSTREAM seeks Connectivity and Collaboration Engineers to join the INGFOSTREAM North America-based team. In this role, you will collaborate daily with one of our major clients based in North America to understand their business goals, objectives and challenges and then translate them into effective enterprise architectures. This will include, but is not limited to Assessments, Strategy and Roadmap workshops, and discuss strategic technologies to achieve business outcomes. In addition, you will design, build, implement, and troubleshoot complicated networking environments and provide support for the team members assigned to this account.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute Strategy and Planning sessions with customers to create multi-year strategies to ensure business requirements are met.
  • Perform Assessments, including Architecture, Design, and Engineering / Configuration Assessments.
  • Create detailed, implementation-level Designs that align with the business strategy, the customer’s budget, and operational support capabilities.
  • Prepare and present Engagement deliverables to the customer
  • Please work with the Solution Architecture team to allow them to finalize any follow-up actions, including Bills of Materials, Statements of Work for remediation, etc.
  • Collaborate well as part of a multi-functional team with Sales, Pre-Sales, Project Management and other delivery/engineering resources

Qualifications:

  • Must have active CCIE Certification – at minimum 10 to 15 years
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 15 years of hands-on network and security experience designing, implementing and optimizing complex environments
  • Possess leadership capabilities to lead design discussions, propose the box solutions practices, provide guidance to the customer, as well as on-site engineering team
  • Experienced expert with complex multi-protocol routing and switching solutions (Cisco)
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with:
  • Core Routing and Switching platforms with a focus on design, configuration, and troubleshooting using Cisco Best Practices
  • Network design and applications, including designing IP addressing
  • OSPF, BGP, EIGRP. Redistribution of protocols and loop prevention
  • TCP/IP protocol stack, TCP/IP headers and packets, the OSI model, and commonly used
  • TCP/UDP ports and associated services
  • Spanning Tree Protocol, Physical Stacking, Stack-wise Technologies
  • The voice on Routing and Switching platforms
  • Quality of Service parameters on various Cisco platforms
  • Various security parameters and hardened access to devices
  • Expert level in routing and switching troubleshooting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Palo Alto Networks Product Portfolio
  • Cisco Security Product Portfolio
  • Wifi – Experienced with Deployment (Cisco, Meraki, Aruba), Configuration, tuning, and Surveying tools (Ekahau)
  • SD-WAN –Experience with one or more of the following SD-WAN technologies (Cisco Fortinet)
  • SDDC – Experience with one or more of the following SDDC (Cisco ACI, VMwareNSX-T, Arista CloudVision)
  • Cisco Unified Communications product suite –
  • Cisco Unified Communications Manager
  • Cisco Unified Contact Center Express
  • Cisco Expressways (Core, Edge), MRA, B2B
  • Cisco Voice Gateways (PRI, QSIG, CAS, FXO, FXS)
  • Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express (CME)/Unity Express (CUE)
  • SIP trunking / Cisco CUBEs (HA deployments as well)
  • Hybrid & public cloud networking – Experience with one or more of the following Hybrid & public cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google, Aviatrix)
  • Load balancers (F5, NetScaler, Avi, NGINX)
  • Familiarity with network programming & automation – (APIs, Scripting, PYTHON, JSON, Ansible, Postman) is strongly desired.
