Role Summary:
The Project Manager is a critical and influential part of the delivery team and reports directly to the PMO Manager. The Project Manager collaborates with both client and Infostream’s Cyber Defense Centre teams to keep technical and managed security service onboarding projects on track. The position is primarily customer facing to both technical and business stakeholders, strong communication skills and the ability adjust the message to the audience is a must. The Project Manager should have strong organizational and documentation skills and be able to effectively lead a diverse team of experts to achieve the client’s security goals including PMP certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple projects at the same time
- Manage the entire lifecycle of assigned projects from initiation to closure
- Manage Cyber Defense Centre (CDC / CYBER DEFENSE CENTRE (CDC)) Onboarding engagements
- Establish a plan for assigned projects, including management of tasks, deliverables, risks, resources, and issues
- Conduct project stakeholder meetings to solicit feedback, and set expectations
- Ensure project budgets and financials are forecasted and managed in a timely manner
- Escalate project issues or concerns to key internal and customer stakeholders
- Produce regular reports on the progress of projects and metrics
- Provide customer service, including interacting with customers, answering customer enquiries, and effectively handling customer escalations
- Adhere to Infostream Cyber Defense Centre Group’s established project management methodologies
Qualifications:
- 5 to 7 years’ work experience in Project Management for a managed security services provider
- Experience with Managed Security Services Onboarding
- PMP certification is mandatory
- CISSP or CISM certification mandatory
- CYBER DEFENSE CENTRE (CDC) or SIEM implementation experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to write and edit clear and concise reports, meeting minutes, and documentation
- Superior organizational and data entry skills and the ability to manage numerous complex projects in parallel
